Miyu Tamiya, PT, is a licensed physical therapist who believes healing happens best when clinical skill meets genuine care. She currently serves as Training Manager at PMP Pain Center, where she supports both patients and the practitioners who treat them.

A graduate of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Ms. Tamiya completed her physical therapy degree in 2021 and earned her license in 2022, beginning hands-on patient care immediately. Her early work in a hospital setting included treating out-patient and ICU patients, where she learned to bring steadiness and compassion to high-stakes moments and to meet each patient exactly where they are.

Today, Ms. Tamiya focuses on musculoskeletal conditions, guiding patients through pain, injury, and recovery so they can return to the movements and moments that matter to them. She is certified in Basic and Advanced Dry Needling and trained in the orthopedic manual physical therapy (OMPT) management of lower extremity conditions, allowing her to tailor treatment to each person's needs.

Beyond direct patient care, Ms. Tamiya is passionate about developing the next generation of clinicians, mentoring her colleagues to grow in confidence, communication, and connection with the people they serve. To her, great healthcare rests on more than expertise alone; it's built on empathy, intentionality, and a daily commitment to becoming better.
